Winemaker’s Vineyard Notes: Sustainably farmed, cool climate vineyard site, Goldridge loam soils. Rainy winter, mild, cool spring and very cool summer leading to a late harvest. Normal yields, 667 clone. Harvested 2.79 tons.

Winemaker’s Tasting Notes: Stainless steel fermented, aged for 16 months sur lees in 100% French oak; 25% new oak. Gorgeous ruby in color. Big, expressive nose of Bing cherry cola and ripe plum. Secondary aromas of rose petal with hints of soy and cedar. Delicious mouthful of ripe red cherry, alpine strawberry and Bing cherry pie. Finishes long with flavors of plum, orange pekoe tea and Baker’s chocolate.
